We aim to meet the spirit of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We build the Site with semantic structure, readable color contrast, keyboard-navigable controls, descriptive text for images, and captions/transcripts for spoken-word content where possible.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. As we add new poetry videos and features, we continue to improve compatibility with assistive technologies and to add captions and transcripts to our audio and video.
Some older media may not yet include full captions or transcripts. We’re actively working to address these, and we’re happy to provide an accessible alternative on request.
